Wild Welsh Sea Bass

Wild Welsh Sea Bass

Wild Sea Bass is regarded as 'The king of the sea', and we certainly agree. Our locally caught wild sea bass is brought in by our fishermen to Burry Port Harbour, just a two minute drive from us. It has the finest delicate flavour and deliciously firm but flaky flesh.

A medium sized fish (1kg-1.5kg) will normally feed between 2-3 people for a main course, or our large option (1.5kg-2kg) will feed 3-4.

Sea bass is a great low-fat source of protein, and a good source of selenium; which is a powerful anti-oxidant.

The fish is prepared by our in house filleters who skin and trim the fish meaning that it's ready to cook. You can also request your fish be filleted, by leaving us a note when checking out.

IMPORTANT: Please note that a ban on catching Sea Bass is in place from February, usually for 2-3 months. This means that we will not be able to supply this fish during this time.
